| Village
Rajac |
 |
Rajac is the
viniculture, agricultural-rural
compact type remote village 25 km
south of Negotin. It is the average of
80 meters above sea level, on the left
side of Timok, right tributary of the
Danube. From Negotin to this
settlement can be reached via a direct
asphalt road Veljkovo and Rogljevo.
Important resource of this village
are Rajac wine cellars and excellent
wines. You can taste and buy wine, see
how real are the traditional methods
and buy souvenirs.
Above the
tavern, the 160 - 250 m above sea
level, is famous Rajac vineyards.
Visitors can walk on trails through
vineyards, see the vineyards and
participate in the vintage.
The
tourist offer is completed by St.
Trifun event, which will be held on
14th February.

| Village Rogljevo |

 |
Rogljevo is the
agricultural-rural compact type remote
village 22 km south of Negotin. It is
the average of 120 meters above sea
level, on the left side of river Timok.
To the village can be reached via
a direct asphalt from Veljkovo.
By
legend Rogljevo is one of the oldest
settlements in the Krajina. The
remains of antiquity at Roman
necropolis, Seliste and old
cemeteries.
Significant natural
resources for the development of rural
tourism in this area are suitable
climate, rich flora and fauna, forest
complexes, medical herbs, mushrooms
and forest fruits and excellent
conditions for viticulture and the
production of high quality wine.
In the vicinity there is a complex
wine cellar – “Rogljevske Pivnice” and
resort “Mokranje Clifs”.
In the
village wine festival is held,
Rogljevo harvest the most known.

| Village of
Tamnič |
| |
 |
Tamnic is in the
southern part of large tertiary
plateau, which in the west of Surfaces
separate Sikolska river, Klenovački
and Brusnički stream, a small part of
the valley next to Timok. It is
situated at 1 km distance from the
left banks of the river Timok,at the
altitude of 91 m.
The mild
climate, rich flora and fauna, forest
complexes and fertile land are
important natural resources for the
development of rural tourism.
Holy
Trinity Church, which is located in
the village, was built in 1900 year,
according to drafts of Steva Todorović,
interior are painted by Krdžalić Lazar
and Pavle Čortanov. In the village
there is a large number of old houses
and wine cellars, monuments to
fighters in the First and Second World
War and a football field. In the
immediate environment is plenty
drink-fountains and springs, the
complexes of wine cellars in Rajac,
Smedovac and Rogljevo, lake Sovinac
with a restaurant, resort Mokranjske
Stene and Mokranjska river, as well as
archaeological monuments.
In the
village there are 17 households for

Popovica |

Popovica the
agricultural compact type rural
village, distance 23 km west of
Negotin. It is situated at the bottom
of the Deli Jovan average 410 m above
sea level, on the sides of the valleys
Popovačke river, right tributary of
the Jaseničke river, on both sides of
the regional road Plavna - Salas (Zaječar).
Significant natural resources for
the development of rural tourism in
the area are Deli Jovan with rich
flora and fauna, forest complexes,
numerous springs, rivers and streams,
medical herbs, mushrooms, and forest
products, hunting grounds big and
small game. In nearby villages there
are several folds (farm type) that are
very attractive to potential guests,
and the village has preserved the
church lodge. In the immediate
environment of the resort Stevanske
Livade and archaeological site Vrelo
Šarkamen.
In the village there are
10 households for the accommodation of

The village is on
the side of Šarkamenske, Vrelske and
Popovičke river, at the altitude of
205 m.
Significant natural
resources for the development of rural
tourism in the area are Deli Jovan,
the rich flora and fauna, forest
complexes, spring, spring, cave,
hunting ground with large and small
game and good conditions for
development of livestock breeding. In
the immediate vicinity of the village
there is a large number of farm, mill
and monuments.
In the vicinity of
the village is the archaeological site
Vrelo - Šarkamen, a residential
complex of Emperor Maksimina Daje (3rd
century)
Locals of the Šarkamen
foster local folk customs and
diligence, in the village of the
events Stvaralački Dani.

The village is
located 7 km south-west of Negotin, at
about 200 m above sea level, the
character of mountain and is
surrounded by dense forest belt.The
village lays on Čubra cliffs, less
known but interesting in its
configuration, unusual shapes and a
few engraved crosses on them. Their
shape indicates that date from the
12th to 15 century.
In the village
above the mountain stream, surrounded
by lush vegetation, was recently
discovered a thousand years old rare
tree - Brest.

| Village Sikole |

Sikole is the agricultural compact type rural village, distance 23 km
southwest of Negotin, comes from the
sixteenth century. It is situated at
350 m above sea level, on the banks of
the Sikolske river, left tributary of
Timok, and at the bottom of the
mountain Deli Jovan.It hass very
attractive hunting grounds. Sikole is
one of the old Serbian village with a
lot of remains from ancient (Seliste,
Crkvište, Gradiste, three old
cemeteries). This settlement can be
reached through direct asphalt road
from Negotin. Some think that is the
name created by falcons, which by
legends were in these areas. Sikole is
well known as the place of birth of
Čučuk Stana, wife of Hajduk Veljko.
After walking the mountain paths,
Deli Jovan, family Josifović offers
recreate.

| Bukovo |

On the slopes of
Bratujevac hill, 4km west of Negotin,
is Bukovo monastery, which was signed
in 1912 a secret alliance between the
Serbs and Bulgarians for the war
against Turkey. Assumed to be built in
the XIV and XV century, during the
time of Serbian Despot.
The
monastery is surrounded by trees and
has an excellent view of the Negotin,
Prahovo, delta of river Timok with the
Danube.
